Antenna Similar to TRA806/17103P that Supports 4G LTE and Wi-Fi

Posted by Michael Crudele on

We received this question recently: Do you have an antenna similar to the “salt shaker” that we currently buy (TRA806/17103P), but will support4G LTE and Wi-Fi?

Will the FM2 bracket work for the Laird OD9 series?

Posted by Michael Crudele on

Unfortunately, the FM2 will not work with the OD9 series antennas from Laird, however, the OD9 series ship with a dual U-bolt mounting system. It a very basic mount but it works fine and we don’t have any other mounts to work with this system. If you are willing to expand your antenna search beyond the OD9 series to all small antennas that work in the 900 MHz range, we have two recommendations found below.   ROSA-900-SNF: An RFMAX outdoor rated 900 MHZ omnidirectional stick antenna with N-Female connectors for IoT use in the US 902-928 MHz bands. The antenna...

Cellular Antenna to be mounted at Side of Building with 25 foot Extension Cables

Posted by Michael Crudele on

We recently had a client reach out to us about a cellular antenna that he wanted to place on the side of his building. He noticed that we had a vehicular antenna, part 170653-000, and wanted something similar to that product. He also informed us that he was looking for a 25-foot cable extension and wanted to receive some recommendations.   Considering part # 170653-000 is a dual cellular product and our assumption that your main concern is to have an antenna outside, we recommend 2 pcs of the Cradlepoint outdoor omnidirectional antenna # 170668-000. Part # 170668-000 is a...

Hardware for Side Mounting onto Wooden Phone Poles

Posted by Michael Crudele on

A short while ago we received a client inquiry regarding the implementation of a large system featuring 56 pcs of Yagi or Omni Fiberglass antennas. They were unsure if the Yagi (YA5900W) or Omni fiberglass (FG9026) antennas came with mounting hardware. They wanted to make sure that if the antennas didn’t come with mounting equipment they could order the correct gear through our website.   The YA5900W includes a mast mounting kit while the FG9026 does not. You would have to purchase part # ROSA-HDM1 separately. Both of the antenna mounts are designed to work on a pipe about 2-2.5...

MIMO/Diversity Omnidirectional Antenna for 4G/LTE

Posted by Michael Crudele on

A client was recently looking for a new MIMO omnidirectional antenna for 3G/4G/LTE. He expressed his confusion and stated that he was originally looking at EAD’s LMO7270 but hoping to receive other ideas. So we come to the main point of this blog, do we have the EAD’s LMO7270 or an equivalent? Yes.   We offer multiple antennas for your dual 3G/4G/LTE MIMO needs, but the ones we recommend are RFMAX’s RBDM-44-SS-6 and RBMM-44-SS-6. RBDM-44-SS-6 is RFMAX’s direct mount MIMO 3G/4G/LTE/Diversity LTE cellular antenna. With dimensions of 7.9 in x 3.5 in x1.8 in, it’s a compact and ultra-rugged antenna designed...

ROSA-900-SNF Made with an N-Male Connector Instead of an N-Female Connector

Posted by Michael Crudele on

Recently we had a client inquire about our ROSA-900-SNF antenna. The client wanted to know if we could make our ROSA-900-SNF with an N-male connector instead of an N-female connector. The answer to that is yes. we have the same antenna made with an N-Male connector with a part # ROSA-900-SNM.        The ROSA-900-SNM from RFMAX is also an outdoor rated, omnidirectional stick antenna except it’s made with an N-male connector instead of an N-female connector. This antenna is perfect for IoT usage in the US FCC 902-928 MHz range. It can be used indoors or outdoors and is...
