Antennas and New Technology

Posted by Kevin Laudenbach on

With the tech world constantly evolving and growing, we've seen some pretty incredible devices invented recently. One piece of technology, however, remains a constant: The antenna. Our RFMAX brand antennas remain compatible with new technology, including band 71, otherwise known as 5G.

Our RFMAX part #'s RBMM-55-SS fully support 5G and are backwards compatible with 4G and earlier technology as well.

You can view our collection of 5G MIMO antennas here, and learn more about 5G and the other new technologies below:

Bitcoin (Crypto Currency) ATM's:

Cryptocurrency has seen a huge spike in popularity, so much so that companies have begun developing ATM machines to purchase cryptocurrency. These machines do not link to a bank account, but rather a crypto wallet. Some machines also allow the user to make purchases with cash. Check out our crypto ATM compatible antennas here.

Automated Kiosks:

Automated kiosks, such as this one from Sentry Kiosk, we created in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. These machines are able take the temperature, provide hand sanitizer, and call for assistance if needed. There is high potential for these kiosks to be used for more applications in the future, such as check-ins at public places or offices. You can view our kiosk compatible antennas here.

 5G Technology:

If you own a cell phone, you've likely heard about 5G. This new mobile network will provide higher download speeds, more reliability, and improved efficiency to cell phone users around the world. You can check out our collection of 5G ready antennas here.

 IoT (Internet of Things):

IoT, or the internet of things, is the connection between almost all devices via WiFi. Whether you want to start your car with your watch, or preheat your oven with your phone, the IoT allows it to happen. If your IoT device has an antenna, we can help upgrade it. Check out our IoT antennas here.
