This unit is a White 'Phantom' / Stealth VHF style Omni-directional antenna with N-Female-permanent 5/8 Inch mount operating at 150-168Mhz range. This antenna offers a powerful punch with up to 3 dBi of gain. Please note that this model REQUIRES mounting on metallic ground plane for best performance. The Phantom series offers ultra-rugged ABS construction which is virtually indestructible, and has a proven track record for holding up in the field for many years in any conditions. Cable kits and mounting hardware for this antenna can be purchased separately.

The low profile, omni-directional, Phantom Antenna product line, was originally introduced by Antenex, and later acquired by TE Connectivity. The Phantom Antenna's patented technology is beneficial when high performance is desired and extreme ruggedness and low profile is required.
