Yageo Group BSA-KIT Base Station Antenna Kit is a special mount and bracket that converts a VHF or UHF mobile antenna into a base station antenna. The antenna connector is a UHF mount and the kit includes an NMO mount adapter, so either type of mobile antenna mount style may be converted to base operations. The underside of the mount is an integral SO-239 connector for the user supplied coaxial cable. The BSA-KIT includes four 21 in. x 0.070 in. rods that secure into the four corners of the mount with hex set screws using the supplied hex key. The rods provide the proper ground plane function for any of the mobile antennas that work in the 144 to 512 MHz range. The sturdy mounting bracket has two 0.25 in. holes for wall or vertical surface mounting and four notches to provide secure mounting with the provided band clamps on a pole or mast up to 2 in. O.D.
