Laird – Cushcraft’s PLC series of Heavy-Duty Fully Welded, Outdoor Rated Yagi Antennas Are Designed To hold up to the elements. Every antenna Is Covered By A Five-Year Factory Warranty.
The PLC4510N from Laird (formerly Cushcraft) is a heavy duty, all-welded, directional Yagi antenna capable of handling up to 250 watts of input power. All of the PLC Yagis, have their elements fully welded to the boom. These welds are on the inside of the boom to eliminate noise and enhance electrical performance. Complete weatherability is ensured by enclosing the feed system in a potted PVC radome that will stand up to your most demanding requirements. The pigtail feed will withstand a 50 pound pull, and makes connector weatherproofing simple. There are no moveable components, so you never have to worry about adjustments or loose parts. All hardware is stainless steel for long life.

*Please note: Yagi antennas are able to be mounted in either the vertical or horizontal plane. The waves leave Yagi antennas in the same plane as the elements. If the elements are up and down, the polarity (or polarization) is vertical. It is necessary to have antennas at both ends of the communications link of the same polarity. Mobile systems traditionally have all antennas vertically polarized. For dedicated Yagi-to-Yagi links either polarization may be selected but be sure to choose the same for both ends of the path.
